From the Airport:

With the completion of the city's metro system still some months away, public transport in Dubai is still in the developing stages. There are plenty of reasonably priced taxis available and if you don't plan to hire a car (which is also an inexpensive option and can be pre-booked online) they remain your best way of getting around the city.

A taxi from the airport has a starting price of Dh20, while regular taxis start at Dh3 during the day and Dh3.50 at night. If you ring to order a taxi, the starting rate during the day is Dh6 and Dh6.50 at night.

Getting to and from The Sevens venue:

The Sevens venue is situated around a half hour drive from Dubai. If you do not have your own can (and are not planning to hire one for your stay in Dubai) the best option to get to the ground is to take a taxi from Dubai. It's easy to catch a taxi in the busy parts of the city, otherwise you can call (04) 2080808 and have one come and collect you.

These are relatively cheap and if you direct the driver to the Al Ain Road, just look out for The Sevens which is well sign-posted, some 10km beyond the Outlet Mall. Click here for a map.

Once the day's action is over, there will be plenty of buses transporting fans from The Sevens venue to five convenient locations across Dubai. These buses are free of charge.
